We seek to rediscover the art of the piano as the composer heard it on the instruments of the time;  to collect and study the instruments themselves, conserving many for history, and performing on many, so we might rediscover history’s magic.  We exhibit and curate instruments, tell the great stories of piano and society, and study the history of the piano, its technology and its builders.

Period Piano Collection Tours from the Piano Technicians Guild Technical Institute are scheduled by appointment.

Purchase a tour ticket to secure a place in the tour; 

A maximum of 20 attendees per day may sign up for the tour

Tours will last 2 1/2 hours. 

The tour may be followed by a performance on period instruments, and the opportunity for pianists to sample select instruments..

A $30 tour ticket covers the tour and any post-tour performance.  ($50 if 3 or less)
